Wow... that brings back memories. I sure did love marching band! I'll have to bring my video of our show to show Jana next time we come down...
Ok, so I'm such a boob...I watched the video and I cried because I think it's so cool that Jumble is a part of that! They look so impressive. I got a kick out of the enthusiastic family cheering on the band (Go AF!!!) Very cute!
Yeah--at the beginning of the performance the announcer asks the drum major if their band is ready and AF has a group of moms that always yells out, "They were BORN ready!" (They should know, they were there!) I think it is hilarious. And Niles and I cheer like that too--you can't believe how totally stoked you feel to see them do so well because you know how hard they've practiced and yes, sob--it's your child out there!! It's quite a rush.
Erin, I think Jumble would love to see your band perform and talk about marching band with you..next time you're here. When will that be?
