This past Saturday he went to his cousin's birthday party and knocked heads with the birthday boy resulting in this beauty:
Earlier this week, Jet had a sty infection in his right eye that got infected and it looked red, swollen, and terrible! We got him on an antibiotic and it cleared right up--thankfully before he got the black eye. Then he really would've looked like he'd been beaten up. He still had a great time at the party!

I've always wanted a black eye. I'm pretty sure nothing else makes you look more legit than that. I just need to pinpoint away to get around how it is you come about getting one.

Scott had a sty on his eye on Sunday...he kept complaining about how much it hurt, and he said "It's your fault, Mom!" (He knows I get those all too frequently.) It's better now, though. Poor Jeremy! I've had very few black eyes in my life.
Yes, I get frequent sty infections so its probably my fault! I remember you having a black eye when you were about 4 that I gave you. You walked in front of the swing I was on and I couldn't avoid smacking into you! Remember that? I still remember the helpless feeling of knowing I was going to hit you but not being able to stop myself.
