I've been babysitting and Niles has been working all week so we had no big plans, but we have enjoyed no school and no homework--and the kids have enjoyed sleeping in. Yesterday Jumble got to go to the zoo with some of her friends. Minnie went with a friend to Costco yesterday for a Brandon Mull book signing. She was able to get her copy (that she just finished reading) of the 5th Fablehaven book signed and got a photo of herself with the famous author. This morning she left with her friend Kari and parents to go to Moab for three days. So I hope she has fun. And I hope she doesn't get too rusty on her flute solo that she's playing in sacrament meeting this Sunday! The boys have just been playing--finally today they have been able to play outside. I scheduled everyone to visit the dentist during spring break because I'm cool like that! No cavities for anyone--yeah! But then one of my back molars is starting to crack so I have to get a crown. Boo--I hate getting old!! I feel too young for my teeth to be falling apart for no reason.
Last week the boys went to a ward Easter Egg Hunt (indoors because of uncooperative weather):
Then we had a family egg hunt at Tim & Rachelle's house last Friday and Rachelle was kind enough to transport my kids to and from the hunt since we had no vehicle big enough to fit our kids at the time. Our van was in the shop getting the steering repaired (NOT cheap!) and then we had to go pick the van up right in the middle of the hunt time. We were sad that we missed the fun. I sent the camera with Jumble with instructions to get photos but all she came back with was this:
Go figure.
The next evening all the local Pew families (except the Espinoza's who were sick, unfortunately) came to hang out at my house but I forgot to take any photos that night. Oh well. It was fun to have everyone here visiting. The men attended the priesthood session and we had treats when they all got back. Earlier on Saturday, in between two very enjoyable conference sessions, we squeezed in Easter baskets and coloring eggs:
On Sunday (after two more enjoyable conference sessions) we went to the Cranes for a wonderful dinner--and I forgot my camera--again. So that was our Easter.
To close, here are some of my hardy little flowers--still blooming despite being snowed on several times. They make me happy!

I have photos of your kids I will give you before I die...heee! We've been busy with my dad this week or we would have had your kids--at least the boys since Minnie is gone. Owell...
I'm a cool mom, too--I scheduled dentist appointments for President's Day and an orthodontist appointment for spring break (that last one was admittedly an accident, though)! Our Primary Easter egg hunt is next week--hopefully we will have better luck with the weather! And you are not old enough for your teeth to be falling apart for no reason! I felt the same way when I had to have a filling replaced a few years ago...how am I old enough to have had a filling long enough that it needs to be replaced?!!
