I've finally got a free minute to post about Minnie's birthday. She turned 12 last Friday. She is pretty excited to be done with Primary and on to YW! This was one of her years to have a party with friends. She wanted to have a swimming party so we all went to the AF Recreation Center Pool, which is an outdoor pool that is covered with a big bubble during the winter months. It is still covered with a bubble right now. Good thing--it is still too cold to go swimming outside! Then we came back to our house for pizza, breadsticks, cake and ice cream and to open presents. (Thanks again, Rachelle, for your help with transporting eleven girls!) I liked it because it was cheap, easy, and fun. The girls all had a great time. Minnie was especially happy that we didn't wake up to snow on the ground for her birthday like last year.

I noticed your sofas were similar when I saw Annette's. I wouldn't mind having one like that either. Minnie's party sounds positively relaxing. I think we'll do something similar next time.
