Two Missionaries, a Blessing, and a Birthday Bash

Sunday, April 13th, was a busy family day for us. We started by heading off to Sacrament meeting in a North Salt Lake ward so we could attend the mission farewell of my husband's two cousins, Josh and Danny (they're twins.) Their brother, Jared, is currently serving a mission so there will be three Elder Cambra's! The night before we had a great time visiting at a bar-b-q held in their honor. Somehow, I didn't manage to take the camera and get any photos of the events or the two fine young men. However, they gave excellent talks and will be great missionaries. From there we went straight to Draper for our niece and cousin Lauren's blessing. (I did manage to get some photos there so you can enjoy them.) Her dad gave her a very sweet blessing. We were so happy to be a part of this wonderful occasion. Then, that evening, all of my side of the family got together to celebrate all the March and April birthdays of those in the area. (There were six birthdays.) We had dinner and all the cousins played. I remembered to take photos of that, too. The two above are of Daughter #1, who turned 14 in April and Daughter #2 with her cousin. It was a busy but fun day. These are all events we would have missed if we weren't in Utah. Being here for important family events is one of the things we enjoy about being in Utah.
